Shibori Class for Children (or as an introductory class for adults)
This is a 15-hour class suitable for children or beginner adults. It could be held over 5 weekdays or a weekend.
Syllabus for Shibori Class
Learn several traditional Japanese shibori techniques. Create silk scarves with arashi, and folded, clamped shibori. Make a sampler with stitched shibori. Dye discharge will be introduced.
Arashi shibori (manipulation of fabric on a pole)
