This is a 33-hour class suitable for adults, to be held over 5 weekdays.
Syllabus for Batik Class
Learn the “American” method of batik. You will create two or more batiks on cotton muslin fabric. Try an under-dye variation. The traditional batik method will be explained. Experiment with ways of using colors together in different ways, by mid-project wax removal and dye painting over completed batiks.
